Summary

This release introduces improvements, and fixes bugs. Importantly, we have now improved optical character recognition (OCR) for ID authentication.

Improvements

Core API

This functionality is part of the core cloud API, so all access methods – Portal, Capture, Desktop – will see these improvements.

  • OCR

    We improved optical character recognition (OCR) for ID authentication. This improved OCR handles all North American documents, such as a driver’s license or a military ID. It also brings more accuracy to the results with fewer alerts due to poor image quality. This new OCR engine runs behind the scenes to enable all our forward-facing products, such as Portal, Capture, and Desktop.

  • OCR Match

    We continue to improve OCR match results to provide more flexibility for your business requirements. OCR match compares the data gathered from the barcode to what is printed on the front of the ID. Think of it as a second-line defense for your IDV process.

Bug fixes

Hub bug fixes

  • Jira NP-910 – Obscure login details.

    After logging in, email and phone number are now obscured if the user revisits the login page.

  • Jira NP-1113 – Fix search when adding new user.

    When adding a new user, the search for a company and customer is now more responsive.

  • Jira NP-1288 - SSO login requires extra step.

    Users with single-sign-on (SSO) credentials are now automatically authenticated without needing to re-enter their email address.

Portal bug fixes

  • Jira NP-1158. Non-driver's license documents do not include nationality.

    For non-North American driver's license documents, the Nationality field is shown (if available) in authentication results.

Reports from Intellicheck

Hub will soon allow you to download and gather your own data reporting for transactions. This is in pilot status. We hope to make it available soon. Until then, continue to work with your CSM or open a support ticket for report requests.
