Scanners
Two types of scanners are supported:
Barcode-only scanners
Image-capture scanners
Barcode-only scanners
Barcode-only scanners must decode 2D (PDF417 format) barcodes.
E-Seek® M260, Honeywell® Xenon™ 1950G, and Zebra® DS8108 are tested and approved for barcode-only scanning.
E-Seek M260 is a small-footprint, 2D and magstripe reader for processing age/ID verification at high-attendance environments.
Honeywell Xenon 1950G is for scanning both digital codes off customer smartphones and merchandise codes at a register. It can scan damaged and poor-quality barcodes, and it provides high durability rating.
Zebra DS8108 is a corded, handheld imager for 2D barcodes.
Image-capture scanners
Image-based scanners must capture color images at 600 DPI minimum resolutions. Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, and TIFF.
Ambir® ImageScan Pro DS687, DESKO® PENTA Scanner®, E-Seek® M280, E-Seek® M500, and Digital Check scanners are tested and approved for image-capture scanning.
Ambir ImageScan Pro DS687 is a compact device for mobile card scanning. It includes USB power and fits on small desks, mobile carts or laptop bags.
DESKO PENTA Scanner is an all-in-one solution that combines OCR technology for optical character recognition in identity documents and an integrated barcode and magnetic strip card reader.
Digital Check SmartSource® Expert Elite is a network-ready check scanning device with multi-feed capabilities to deliver higher speeds and higher capacity for large-volume teller and RDC capture environments.
E-Seek M280 is an advanced 2D and magstripe reader complete with high-resolution digital image capture and verification. It is available for the Windows operating system.
E-Seek M500 is a dual-sided, high-resolution identity card authenticator with single-pass operation. It is available for the Windows operating system.
